1. Introduction
CourtLab ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, website, film tools, sharing workflows, and related services.
CourtLab is built for junior sport. That means we treat player profiles, youth performance data, uploaded film, highlights, and family sharing controls as sensitive information.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
Name, email address, authentication details, role, team or club affiliation, and support messages.
Player and Guardian Details
Player name, age or date-of-birth ranges, parent/guardian contact details, profile settings, and consent records where applicable.
Performance and Team Data
Training sessions, shot charts, drill results, combine metrics, attendance, team rosters, coach notes, and progress reports.
Video and Highlights
Uploaded or captured game film, clips, highlights, thumbnails, tags, play notes, AI-generated reports, and sharing links.
Usage and Device Data
App events, device type, browser, diagnostics, crash logs, approximate region, and product analytics.
Payments
Subscription status and purchase metadata from Apple, Google, Stripe, or RevenueCat. We do not store full card numbers.

4. Minors and Parent/Guardian Consent
CourtLab may be used by minors only with appropriate parent, guardian, school, club, or coach involvement as required by law and the account workflow. Parents and guardians can request access, correction, export, deletion, or sharing changes for a minor's profile by contacting support.
5. Video, Highlights, and Sharing
You may upload or capture game film and create clips, highlights, reports, or share links. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload film that includes players, coaches, officials, spectators, or venue content.
Coaches, clubs, scouts, recruiters, parents, and other viewers can only access content through the permissions, team membership, public profile settings, or share links made available in the product. Some shared links may be viewable by anyone who has the link unless an access code, expiry, or other restriction is enabled.
To request removal of a video, highlight, player profile, or report, contact support@courtlab.app with enough detail for us to identify the content.
6. Coach, Club, Scout, and Recruiter Access
If you join a team, club, combine, event, watchlist, or recruiting workflow, authorized staff may see relevant player information such as roster details, attendance, performance metrics, video tags, highlights, reports, and notes. Club administrators may manage access for their organization.
Scout and recruiter access is intended for basketball evaluation workflows and may be limited by player, parent, coach, or club permission settings.
7. De-Identified Analytics
We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand product usage, improve analytics models, benchmark product performance, debug reliability issues, and describe business traction. We do not use de-identified analytics to sell identifiable minor data.

Account Data
Kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for support, security, tax, legal, and backup purposes.
Film and Reports
Kept while needed to provide Film Room, highlights, reports, sharing, and backup recovery unless deleted or removed.
Deleted Content
Deletion may take time to propagate through backups, logs, caches, app stores, payment processors, and third-party systems.
9. Data Security
Industry-Standard Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Your data is stored using providers such as Google Cloud Platform and Firebase, with access controls, authentication, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service.
10. Account Deletion, Exports, and Takedowns
You may request deletion of your account, export of your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, or removal of content involving you or your child. To request deletion, please contact us at support@courtlab.app or use the "Delete Account" feature within the app settings.
